InfinitiWith the G35 accounting for one-third of Infiniti sales, Nissan has taken its re-design very seriously. When the G35 was originally released it gave the class-leading BMW 3-series a run for its money.

Time has not been kind, however, and the current generation G35 is beginning to show its age. Now that BMW, Audi and Lexus have all re-designed their small sports sedans, Infiniti needed to get in the act or risk being left behind.

MazdaThe MazdaSpeed6 will soon receive a stablemate. At the Geneva Auto Show, Mazda revealed specs and pics of MazdaSpeed's latest offering: the MazdaSpeed3.

Based on the 5-door hatchback, the Mazda3 Sport, the MazdaSpeed3 uses the same engine as the MazdaSpeed6 (although slightly de-tuned to 247-hp @ 5,500 and 275 lb-ft of torque @ 3,000), and the same 6-speed manual transmission. The MazdaSpeed3, however will only have the front two wheels powered as opposed to the AWD system of it's bigger brother.

HyundaiWith Hyundai increasing their reliability and quality by leaps and bounds in recent years many consumers have been asking for a minivan to be added to the Hyundai lineup.

The result is a very competitive vehicle. Starting with a 242-hp engine mated to a 5-speed automatic, Hyundai added 4-wheel disc brakes and 6 standard airbags to make this minvan a sweet deal.

DodgeIf the 215-hp of the original Dodge Neon SRT4 or the 245-hp of the updated Neon SRT4 weren't enough, maybe 300-hp will make you happy.

While the idea of putting 300 highly turbocharged horsepower through the front wheels may frighten some people, Chrylser thinks that will not be an issue as the Caliber SRT4 uses equal-length half shafts.

ChryslerChrysler has introduced their first SUV. It is based on the Dodge Durango, although, you would never guess that from the press release.

The fullsize SUV is also inspired, somewhat, by the Chrysler 300. In fact Chrysler quite openly refers to the new Aspen as the "300 of SUV's".

AcuraIt would seem that Honda has taken a little of the CR-V and mixed it with the Acura TL to get it's newest prototype ... the Acura RDX.

The soon-to-be-released SUV emphasizes the Sport in SUV with a turbocharged 4-cylinder engine under the hood. Running through a 5-speed automatic transmission the power will go to all 4-wheels using Acura's 'Super-Handling All-Wheel Drive' (SH-AWD) from the Acura RL.

ToyotaWhen you build the best selling car in North America, you take your re-designs very carefully.

That is what Toyota faced when they went back to the drawing board for their 2007 Toyota Camry. What we get is more of everything wrapped in a package that is more aggressive and shouldn't offend too many people.

FordThe Ford Shelby GT500 could be called the little brother of the Ford GT. The newer Mustang-derived model sports many hand-me-downs from the supercar ... not least of all the supercharged 5.4L V-8 engine.

Granted the GT500 engine is a detuned version of the one in the GT, but it does share the 4-valve aluminum cylinder heads, bearings and piston rings. It also gets parts from the Ford Racing FR500C, a car which dominated the Grand-Am Cup Series this past year, most notably it's 6-speed manual transmission.
